Bill Ostendorf started the business in 1994

What makes Benjamin Moore Aura, Advance, and all Fine Paints of Europe products special is what is in the paint and what's not in the paint. Both use high quality pigments and solids, no cheap fillers or extenders. The goal on all projects is to make high quality painting affordable.
Myself, (31 years experience), Ed Bradford (28 years experience), and Josh Worley (23 years experience) work on the projects.
Interior painting
Ceilings, walls, woodwork, cabinets always receive 2 coats.
Ceilings are painted with Benjamin Moore Waterborne ceiling paint. Walls are painted with Benjamin Moore Aura or Fine Paints of Europe Eurolux. Aura will last 10 years, Fine Paints will last 13-16 years.
Woodwork is sanded, caulked where necessary, and sprayed with 2 coats of Benjamin Moore Advance or Fine Paints of Europe Eco. Advance will last 10 years, Eco will last 14-20 years.
Stained cabinets are cleaned with denatured alcohol, sanded, primed with 2 coats Stix primer. Sanded, caulked and sprayed with 2 coats Benjamin Moore Advance or Fine Paints of Europe Eco. Prep is critical with cabinets and woodwork. Advance will last 10 years, Eco will last 13-17 years.
Exterior painting
Exteriors are power washed, caulked where necessary, loose paint scraped, sanded, spot primed and sprayed with 2 coats Benjamin Moore Aura. Aura will last 10-12 years. Decks are power washed, deck boards, tops of handrails, and stairs are sanded with 80 grit sandpaper. Sanding is critical for durability. Deck is sprayed with 2 coats Benjamin Moore Arborcoat. Decks will last 3-4 years.
Stained front doors are cleaned with denatured alcohol, sanded, stained with one coat Old Masters Stain. Then 3 coats Fine Paints of Europe Marine Yacht varnish is applied. Depending on sun exposure, doors should be re-coated in 4-6 years.
New construction
There is little difference in paint quality in an 1800 sq ft home vs 5,000, 8,000 sq ft home. Most homes ceilings receive one coat primer, one coat paint.
Primer and paint are $22.00-$30.00 per gallon.
Woodwork painted with one coat primer one coat paint.
Primer $25-$30.00 per gallon, paint $35-$40.00 per gallon.
Cabinets are painted with 2 coats primer one coat paint.
Walls are not washable, woodwork, cabinets have limited washability and look dull.
Quality alternative is one coat Stix primer on ceiling and walls.
Two coat Benjamin Moore Waterborne ceiling paint and two coats Benjamin Moore Aura eggshell on walls.
Woodwork and cabinets receive 2 coats Stix primer and 2 coats Advance.
Walls are washable, woodwork, cabinets are rich looking and washable. Cost will be an additional $2.60-$3.35 per sq fr
